One of my favorite European classics: A 1950 Delahaye 135MS Right Hand Drive Gran Routiere Sunroof Coupe:

Thats a mouthful, isn't it?

Words directly from the current owner of this classic French beauty:

"All Delahayes have custom coach work, my car was bodied by the firm Henri Chapron,  Paris. Ordered by a Parisian gentleman in 1949 , took a year to build , and is a 1950 Delahaye 6 Cylinder 135MS Right Hand Drive Gran Routiere Sunroof Coupe . These cars were built for wealthy owners who rallied and drove them on Napoleons HighWays ( Gran Routieres ), canted for drainage and right hand drive so the driver could check his position by looking out the right side door window while driving on the right. Delahayes were custom bodied after leaving the Paris works of Delahaye and  are "one off " commissions sent by their owners to coach builders such as Figoni et Falaschi , Chapron , Guiore , Antem and others ."

I hope you enjoy the views of this car as much as I have.

As always, the watermark is in place in order to protect my copyright. Prints and digital images ordered by clients do not include the watermark.
